About The Role
What you will do

   You will be responsible for the complete test lifecycle of solutions to ensure production releases are of exceptional quality

   Our solutions are built using the most up to date technology covering C#, MVC, Angular, JavaScript, SQL Server and we have now also branched out into iOS and Android for our AppToPay brand


Key responsibilities

         Build and execute test plans for all software whether developed by V12 or 3rd Parties

         Play a key part in the development and improvement of user guides for tested solutions

         Understand industry best practice in regards to test approaches and follow V12 best practice guidelines as instructed by the Lead Test Analyst

         Work as part of the scrum team to meet agreed deadlines and commitments

         Work closely with the software developers to ensure test defects are resolved

         Produce a quality end product that is fit for purpose in the 24/7 world V12 operates. Business metrics are in place to measure performance and stability of our technology solutions

What you will bring

The post holder will be an experienced test professional and team player.  They will demonstrate personal commitment and accountability to ensure the solutions signed off by them through their test coverage are suitable for production release.


          Experience of involvement at every stage of the test lifecycle

          Proven logical trouble shooting and problem solving skills

          Excellent IT and literacy skills

          Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload effectively

          Experience of working in Scrum or Kanban teams

          Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude

          Able to communicate clearly at all levels

          Current experience of working within fast paced development lifecycles

          ISEB (or similar) qualification and/or equivalent experience

          Exposure to test automation would be an advantage

          Exposure to testing of mobile apps would be an advantage
