About The Role
What you will do
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of deposit raising for the Bank in line with a range of key performance measures and the Savings Funding Strategy. Alongside this, you will support with the delivery of the Savings Strategy through raising deposits across a range of products and channels, closely managing daily inflows of funds to ensure the group retail funding requirements are met.

As part of the role, you will manage the Savings product portfolio to optimise the cost of retail funds to ensure savers receive fair value and that the group is able to lend at completive rates. Own and develop the reporting and analysis of product performance, alongside managing the wider reporting of Savings performance to support strategic and day-to-day decision making.

You will also lead a small team of Product and Analyst roles and will be capable of motivating, planning and executing team activity in line with the Savings annual plan. This role reports to the Savings Director with regular interaction with the Savings Leadership Team, Savings Operations, Treasury, and Banking IT and Change Teams – overseeing delivery of the savings business.

What you will bring
  • Commercially astute with strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Practical experience of managing retail savings products, ideally with expert knowledge of ISAs and distribution of Savings products through a range of channel partners
  • Ability to identify insight through trends, modelling and forecasting
  • Knowledge of the regulatory requirements associated with the UK savings market is essential
  • Knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel reporting highly desirable
