This is a unique opportunity to build and develop a high-performing team, drive the evolution of our Azure Databricks platform, and create trusted, accessible data products that deliver real value across the Bank. - Deliver trusted, governed data products through a modern medallion architecture, ensuring high standards of quality, security and resilience.
- Collaborate with Architecture and Data Governance teams to embed robust data models, lineage, ownership and control frameworks.
- Partner with business leaders across Finance, Credit Risk, Operations and Savings to deliver data solutions that support strategic and regulatory objectives.
- Prioritise engineering activity across business change, regulatory commitments and operational demands, providing clear visibility of risks and dependencies.
- Build team capability through coaching, mentoring, structured development and Databricks-focused training and accreditation.

- Experience embedding data governance, quality, lineage, security and auditability into engineering solutions.
- Ability to translate data and technology strategy into tangible business value, customer outcomes and commercial impact.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
